Chemists
Nexeon is looking for Research and Development Scientists providing responsive and a proactive contribution towards the development of a silicon based anode material for application in Li-ion batteries. Successful candidates will be expected to develop and improve existing products in line with current and future business opportunities; develop new invention and file proprietary technology patents, and characterize new materials through performance testing.
Qualifications and experience
PhD or advanced scientific degree (Chemistry). Experience of battery development would be an advantage. Proven experimental testing skills and the ability to conduct practical industrial testing. Industrial formulation experience, creative problem solving, good interpersonal and leadership skills, strong customer orientation, excellent team spirit, enthusiasm and focused towards innovation, self motivated, self directed and responsive, fast acting and results driven.
Chemical Engineers
Nexeon is looking for Chemical Engineers to provide a responsive and a proactive contribution towards the development and optimisation of manufacturing production processes for silicon materials for internal use and for customers.
Qualifications and experience
PhD, Masters or Degree level (Chemical Engineering). With 2-3 years of commercial experience. Willingness to travel nationally and internationally. Creative problem solving, good interpersonal and leadership skills, strong customer orientation, excellent team spirit, enthusiasm and focused towards innovation, self motivated, self directed and responsive, fast acting and results driven.
Lab Technicians
Nexeon is looking for Lab technicians to provide a responsive and proactive contribution towards the development and demonstration of a silicon based anode material for application in Li-ion batteries.
Qualifications and experience
Technical assembly and preparation of samples for testing. Practical experience of working in a laboratory and a hands-on can do approach. Good interpersonal skills, strong customer orientation, excellent team spirit, enthusiasm and focused towards innovation. Self motivated and responsive to the needs of the team, fast acting and results driven.
Test Engineers/ Battery Engineers
Nexeon is looking for Test Engineers and Battery Engineers to provide a responsive and proactive contribution towards the development and demonstration of silicon based anode material for application in Li-on batteries, and can also contribute significantly to its implementation.
Qualifications and experience
Degree (Engineering). With 2-3 years of practical and commercial experience. Previous experience with batteries and lithium rechargeable batteries would be desirable but not essential. Creative problem solving, good interpersonal and leadership skills, strong customer orientation, excellent team spirit, enthusiasm and focused towards innovation, self motivated, self directed and responsive, fast acting and results driven.
