Nexeon | Silicon anode Li-ion battery technology

Nexeon, the leading developer of next generation Li-ion batteries based on silicon anodes, has relocated to purpose-built facilities in Oxfordshire.  Located at Milton Park, the new facilities will allow Nexeon to accelerate the rate of technology development.

Nexeon has announced the signing of material evaluation agreements (MEAs) with major corporations interested in its technology. The names of the companies have not been disclosed at this time, but Nexeon has said that the companies involved are well known battery and automotive companies.

Nexeon has achieved an important milestone in its development of silicon-based anodes for next generation lithium ion (Li-ion) batteries. Cells containing its silicon anode material have successfully completed 500 full charge/discharge cycles without significant fade being observed.
