Nexeon has been chosen as one of the UK companies to join a high profile trade mission to Japan at the end of January. The mission, organised by UK Trade & Investment and the British Embassy, Tokyo, focuses on the important ICT market that has annual sales of over £630 billion, and which is now recovering from the natural disasters of 2011. The Japanese ICT market is the third largest in the world.
Nexeon will be represented by Dr Scott Brown who is well experienced in dealing with Japanese corporations, having lived and worked there for several years. Among the technology streams to be discussed are green ICT and energy management systems, including introducing Smart Grid Technology and Smart Community to reduce CO2 emissions.
Meetings and site visits will be held in Osaka and Tokyo, as well as networking with leading Japanese corporations such as: Panasonic, Sharp, Hitachi, Fujitsu and NTT.
